Instrumental Music Major

This Major will prepare you for the rigors of a college or university Music Major and to perform in the community. The skills and experience you gain include piano, instrumental ensembles, individual technique and performance, music theory and music history. You will be exposed to a variety of music styles including “classical,” blues, pop, and jazz. The major is designed to give a broad introduction to instrumental music while equipping you with a skill you will use the rest of your life.
