Mitchell Meyer was born and raised in Montana, which, yes, is beautiful, but also freezing, so he was more than happy to jump at the opportunity to move to California. In college, he majored in psychology to become a therapist, and also realized he had a passion for academic and career advising through his job as a peer advisor. (Please note, he did NOT start out as a psychology major. Yes, you CAN change your mind in college!)
Luckily, there is a career for all three of his passions, and even more luckily, he gets to work at a place as amazing as Inspire. He is very excited to get to know all the students and work with them throughout their high school careers to help with anything at all. As an asker of dumb questions himself, he is a strong advocate for the fact that, whether parent or student, there is no such thing as a dumb question.
In his free time, he enjoys crafting, rock climbing (indoors, because his Mom says it’s too dangerous to do it outdoors), hanging out with his fiancé, or trying to coax at least one of his cats out from underneath the couch.
