Vocal Music Major

If you are one of those people who love to sing, a Vocal Music Major could be just for you. The Vocal Music Major offers training and experience in all kinds of singing through Pop Band, Choir, Musical Theatre and vocal small groups. You will develop both your vocal technique and your listening and music reading skills through singing by yourself, and in vocal ensembles of all kinds. The Vocal Music Major also opens the doors to understanding how music works through learning to write out your own tunes and record your own songs, read and find your part in an ensemble, as well as learning to accompany yourself on the guitar and piano. It’s all about taking the opportunity to hone your skills and confidence so you can reach your goals as a singing musician, and be able to enjoy the many performance opportunities available to Inspire students.
