Cross Country

The Inspire Hawks Cross Country Team meets from mid/late-August through early November. Cross country is open to all students regardless of their running experience and background, but we are about so much more than that! The goal is to help athletes learn to love running, set goals, and have fun. The team works together to create a personal and group culture that pushes us toward success, regardless of what we hope to achieve. Throughout the season, we focus on proper running form, safety, and technique for everyday running and racing, grounded in theories of Running Periodization and basic human kinesiology. In addition to team practices, athletes will have the opportunity to compete in meets across the North State! Get ready to lace up and join us!
Practices are scheduled every day, and athletes are expected to attend to maintain eligibility for the team and competitions. Students are held to Inspire's standards for athletic participation, as well as those set by the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).

Golf

Golfing at Inspire isn’t just about skill—it’s about contributing to a team & representing your school with integrity. At Inspire, we have players who are encouraging, respectful, and supportive of others. We are positive even when your shots aren’t perfect. We are about to go out there, giving it our best shot, and getting our daily dose of iron. Boys season is in the Spring and girls season is in the Fall.

Ski/Snowboard

Our season starts in mid-November with pre-season workouts that will be on Mondays and Wednesdays after school. Being in good shape is critical to racing and our workouts continue through the season. We have 7 training days at Boreal and we have 6-8 races at Boreal, Alpine and Northstar. Our first on hill training will take place in late December and our first race is usually the first week of January with the last race toward the end of February. For those who qualify there is a statewide competition the first week of March. Training days are on the weekends and race days are on Mondays and Fridays.
