Ken Hardy attended CSU Chico taking a BA in English and a Commission as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army. After his service, which included a combat tour in Iraq during operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, he returned to the San Francisco Bay Area where he earned his single subject teaching credential in English at San Francisco State. His subsequent teaching assignments include Andrew Hill High School in San Jose and Gridley High School. While at Gridley, he earned his Administrative Credential and Masters in Education Leadership from National University. After combined 23 years of teaching high school English and coaching baseball and golf, Ken became Inspire’s second Associate Principal and served over six years in this position culminating with service as Project Liaison/Manager for Inspire with Chico Unified School District and Modern Building Company to transition Inspire to its new location for opening in the fall of 2026. Ken enjoys yoga, golfing and playing the drums where he can often be found in the pit of Inspire’s annual musicals.
