*We have scholarships available to students who meet the Free and Reduced Lunch guidelines, thanks to the North Valley Community Foundation! If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please submit your Lunch Letter from CUSD via email to email@example.com. You may also bring a copy of the letter into the CARD office. Eligible students may use the scholarship for up to 2 camps.
Come explore your creativity, drawing and collaging skills in this hands-on art workshop. Together we’ll explore ways to use collaging techniques to express yourself through journaling. You will learn exciting mixed-media techniques that include using assemblage collage, paper quilting, abstract backgrounds, and paper mosaics to create your own art journal. You’ll be taught cutting, ripping and gluing skills to develop your collage aesthetics. And together we will do daily drawing practices to strengthen our artistry. You will receive a mixed media sketchbook and other art supplies to get you started on your art journaling journey. Students should bring a snack and refillable water bottle. Any and all magazine donations would be much appreciated! Material fee of $25 payable on the first day-CASH ONLY PLEASE.
