(Beginning/Intermediate Middle School, Beginning/Intermediate High School, Intermediate/Advanced)

A summer dance intensive right here in Chico with the best of the best home grown talent! Many Inspire alumni have gone on to professional careers in choreography and dance education and now they are all coming together for one week to work with you!!! Contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, and so much more! Dancers will  get a taste of what is current in the industry and what dance at Inspire can be! Beginning through Advanced technique levels  will be taught in multiple dance styles and genres. Dancers will Learn the roots of jazz dance and experience what being a dancer is all about! Level-appropriate techniques will be taught in multiple dance styles. The day will start with a full-body warm up followed by instruction in the dance styles that will cover technical skills and choreography. Classes will be led by Inspire staff and alumni. The intensive will culminate in a mini showcase performance at the end of the week! Wear comfortable dance or athletic wear that allows full range of motion, socks, and bring your dance shoes if you have them. Bring snacks and a refillable water bottle. All participants will receive an intensive t-shirt.

• Beginning/Intermediate Middle School 11-14 (entering 6th grade-entering 9th grade)
• Beginning/Intermediate High School 13-17 (entering 9th grade-entering 12th grade)
• Intermediate/Advanced 12-17 (entering 8th grade-entering 12th grade)

Dates: June 24-28

• Beginning/Intermediate Middle School 9:00am-12:00pm
• Intermediate/Advanced High School 12:30pm-3:30pm
• Beginning /Intermediate High School 4:00pm-7:00pm

Minimum and maximum number of participants: 10 min – 30 max per camp (3 camps)

Location: Inspire School of Arts and Sciences’ Dance Studio, Room IC-26

Fee: $200 with $25 cash materials fee due on the first day
