Newsies
Join us for our Fall Musical: Newsies happening November 6th – 8th at the Paradise Performing Arts Center!
Get ready to “Seize the Day!” as the Inspire School of Arts & Sciences presents Disney’s Newsies the Musical, a dynamic, family-friendly production filled with unforgettable music, powerhouse dancing, remarkable student artistry, and a story that celebrates the courage to stand up for what you believe in.
Based on the real-life Newsboys’ Strike of 1899, Newsies follows Jack Kelly and a group of young newspaper sellers who decide they have had enough. When powerful newspaper publishers raise the price the newsies must pay for their papers, these young workers band together and take a stand. What begins as a small act of rebellion grows into a citywide movement—proving that even the youngest voices can create meaningful change.
With its soaring score, spectacular choreography, infectious energy, and inspiring story, Newsies offers something for the entire family. Inspire invites families, friends, alumni, educators, and community members to come “Seize the Day!” with the next generation of artists.
Whether you are a longtime supporter of Inspire’s performing arts programs or have never experienced an Inspire production before, Newsies the Musical promises an exciting night of theatre that demonstrates what happens when young artists are given the opportunity to dream big and create boldly.
Bring the family. Bring your friends. And get ready to cheer for the newsies!
Disney’s Newsies the Musical is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
