Inspire’s spring musical, Oklahoma!, had the honor of being adjudicated as part of the THE RITA MORENO CALIFORNIA HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL HONORS, which is normally a large performance, completion, and award ceremony in San Jose where high school students from all over Northern California compete for the chance to move onto the Jimmy Awards in New York City. Our very own Luciano Castaldo won for best actor last year and Addams Family was nominated for Best High School Musical. Because of current events, the Rita’s have been cancelled, but the organization is still looking to honor students–specifically seniors who will not be eligible to participate in next year’s competition. There will be a virtually streamed showcase exhibiting senior talent, and Inspire’s Oklahoma! has been included in this event! Please come watch and cheer for your senior performers over a Facebook Live streaming of the Senior Showcase on May 18th, (This Monday!) at 7:30 pm.
