Fall Play: The Importance of Being Earnest
With Afternoon Tea Service!
November 11-12 | 2 PM & 7 PM | First Christian Church
Be transported to the Victorian Era through Inspire School of Arts & Science’s production of The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. Taking place at the First Christian Church in Chico, on November 11th and 12th at 2 and 7 PM, this sharp satirical comedy comes to new life in a gender-swapped production. Here, Wilde’s classic characters live in a world where women are in power and men look to secure advantageous marriages. Hilarity ensues when the two women seek to propose to the young men that they choose. However, both women are using the false alias of Ernest unbeknownst to anyone except each other, which may eventually spell disaster! In another inspired twist, all tickets come with complimentary afternoon tea service and an additional option for food during online ticket purchase. Reserve yours today, cheers!
UPDATE:
The full menu tickets are officially sold out, but there are general admission tickets available, in which attendees still enjoy complimentary afternoon tea & lemonade. Currently, GA tickets will also be sold at the door.
