Jim White
About
Jim White is a musician, conductor, recording and audio engineer, business owner and teacher. He started at Inspire in 2012 where he teaches Instrumental Music and Recording Arts. As a performer and conductor he has traveled extensively in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Africa and Canada. Jim has been heavily involved in local musical theater over the past 12 years directing many musicals and shows as well as serving on the Boards of local theater companies. He owns a backline rental company, Left Coast Backline, that supplies band equipment (amplifiers, drums, keyboards, etc) to musicians performing in the region. Jim has a Bachelor of Music Performance in Trombone, a Master of Arts in Music, a Master of Education in Educational Technology, a CA Single Subject Teaching Credential and a CTE Credential in Arts, Media & Entertainment. Jim has been married to Robin (a Realtor) since 1986 and has two grown children, all of whom have extensive experience in the arts.
