About

In college, Mitchell Shafer-Meyer majored in psychology to become a therapist, but soon also realized he had a passion for academic and career advising through his job as a peer advisor. (Please note, he did NOT start out as a psychology major. Yes, you CAN change your mind in college!) Luckily, there is a career for all three of his passions, and even more luckily, he gets to work at a place as amazing as Inspire. He is always excited to get to know students and work with them throughout their high school careers to help with anything at all. As an asker of dumb questions himself, he is a strong advocate for the fact that, whether parent or student, there is no such thing as a dumb question. In his free time, he enjoys sitting with his husband while they get yelled at by their cat.
